Wife, Dr. Jacqueline A. (Jackie) Meyers is Fluvanna County CSA Program Manager and head of the Fluvanna County Animal Disaster Team.  She also operates a home-based animal rescue and offers end-of-life advice and solace for pet owners through Peaceful Passings.

Son Steve is Faculty Administrator at the Great Barrington (Mass.) Rudolf Steiner School. His wife, Janis Martenson, is Director of Development for Miss Hall's School in Pittsfield.

Son Matt is a contractor and real estate investor in western Massachusetts. His wife, Ann, is a teacher at the Great Barrington Waldorf School.

Son Dan is a photographer and community activist in Brooklyn. 

Daughter Sarah is an artist and bartender in New York City. Her husband, Hal Jones, is a resident in Ob-Gyn at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center.
